the tip of a Middle Bronze Age spearhead. It is narrow with a pronounced mid-rib, and 14mm of the socket survives into the head. The edges are worn due to invasive corrosion with surfaces also affected, especially on one face. The survivng surfaces are patinated to a deep brown, but elsewhere the spearhead is a pale-medium green. The mid-rib has a relatively angular lozenge-shaped cross-section which suggests a Middle Bronze Age date. It measures 75mm in length, 16mm in width, and is 8mm in thickness, weighing 13g.
It is probably from a side or basal looped spear head.

A fragment of copper alloy Roman bell-shaped stud dating to crica AD 43-410. Although small, it can be seen to be part of a circular, bell-shaped object, probably a knob-handle, and shows the everted rim, and recessed underside usually associated with these fittings. Examples are known from Colchester (Crummy 1983, no 4650) and from Coventina's Well (Allason-Jones 1985, no.80). this fragment would have had a diameter of c.24mm. It measures 11.09mm in length, 13.75mm in width and weighs 2.55g. It is too fragmentary to determine a typological sub-class.

Crispina’s coinage was traditionally dated to c. AD 178-182, but more recent research suggests that she was probably not exiled to Capri until AD 188. Therefore, we date her coins to c. AD 178-188; although some coins probably date to AD 178-80, we cannot be sure which they are so all Crispina’s coins are assigned to Reece Period 9 (AD 180-192).
