A Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative,Rear hook lbrooch fragment. It is incomplete due to old breaks, and consists of the top of the bow and wings only of a Colchester brooch , rear hook type. The wings are 19.98mm in width, and are a shallow, semi-circular shape, with two lines of decoration ochester derivative, h. There is moulding on the top of the bow which is rectangular in section, with a small ridge where the rear hook begins, but is now missing . The brooch fragments measures 13.11mm in length and weighs 2.69g.

Two fragments from Roman Colchester derivative, Harlow style brooch, dated to 50-80. One fragment consists of the wings and upper bow only, of a Colchester derivative brooch with double lug. The wings are short and semi-cylindrical, and are plain and unfaceted. The coil and pin are missing. The line of the double lug at the centre continues forward and runs down the bow as a longitudinal ridge. The bow is flat-backed. a copper alloy incomplete Roman bow brooch. The spring case is semi-clindrical, with the ends folded in to enclose part of the spring of six coils . The pin is missing. The bow is flat, 11.05mm wide with a single central broad rib 5.7mm wide. It is attached to the centre of a rosette plate with moulded decoration consisting of an inner band of radiating lines, and then of concentric rings and grooves. Both ends of the spring case are incomplete. The case is decorated on the front with double incised lines along the top. The brooch has a semi-circular head plate with enclosed ends to hold the axis bar with a spring of four coils. There is a narrow crescent -shaped field which could have taken an enamel infill, at the top of the head. A fragment of a Roman copper-alloy chatelaine brooch. Part of one side of the brooch survives, including one lug to take the missing chatelaine bar. Part of the edge with one side lug is bent back at right angles, apparently torn away from the incomplete plate. The plate is decorated with two bands; the lower contains two triangles and the upper two semi-circles. These decorative cells contain traces of a deposit which may be yellow enamel. The brooch is extremely worn, but a faint trace of a human head can be seen with a possible halo behind. Lead brooch of 'hub-cap' type (Weetch type 17), of late Early-Medieval date, probably 10th or 11th century. It is circular, 26.7mm in diameter and 1.25mm thick, with a central circular hole (7.65mm in diameter) surrounded by a raised edge. It weighs 10.08g. There are four evenly spaced raised hollow-backed bosses or domes, 4.44mm in diameter, around the edges, each pushed up from the back of the brooch. There is a small sub-circular hole through the lead between two of the domes. There is a lead loop catchplate on the back of the brooch, and remains of an attachment point for a pin.

Part of a copper alloy applied saucer or disc brooch of Early Medieval date. It is the back-plate and is an incomplete disc, 43.92mm in diameter , weighing 3.60g. The edges are broken on an estimated one third of the circumference, and the piece is partly bent, with cracks and fissures as a result of plough damage. An incomplete copper-alloy openwork cross brooch dating to the 9th century AD, of Weetch's type 15.B. Less than half the brooch survives. It consists of a ring-shaped semi-circle, 3.85mm wide and with a reconstructable diameter of 26.5mm, with an openwork pattern of one complete quadrant-shaped hole, and parts of two more.
