Copper alloy medieval harness pendant. It is an elaborate quatrefoil shape with angle projections, and with the suspension loop turned at ninety degrees, incomplete due to old breaks. Any decoration or coat of arms is obscured by a reddish corrosion which occurs all over the pendant. It is 21.77mm in length, 12mm in width and weighs 1.09g. Ashley 2002,figs 5 and 6, illustrates examples from the twelfth to thirteenth centuries, of similar design to this Brockley example. A copper alloy Medieval harness pendant. It is a triangular-shaped pendant, lobed at the upper terminal below the suspension loop. The latter is turned at ninety degrees to the face of the pendant. The lower terminal is incomplete due to old breaks,and has been bent back, probably the result of plough damage. The surface of the pendant is corroded and shows no trace of armorial decoration. A copper alloy medieval harness pendant. It is a narrow, triangular shape with a loop at the top turned at ninety degrees. The pendant is 5.8mm in width at the shoulders and expands to its lower terminal which is 17.1mm wide, and is incomplete due to old beaks. It is also bent, and may have had a rounded edge at its base. There are no traces of armorial or other design surviving on the pendant, except for two or three short, diagonal lines just visible at the broken edge at the base. The pendant measures 36.35mm in length and weighs 2.92g. It is likely to date to the thirteenth century.

A Medieval buckle plate or folding clasp plate. It is a made from folded sheet metal, and is rectangular, the folded terminal being columnar in shape. The plate measures 37.83mm in length and tapers in width from 16.18mm at the open terminal to 14.82mm at the folded terminal. there are five rivet holes, one at each corner and one centrally placed, and four dom-headed rivets are in situ. There is incised decoration outlining the edge of the plate, with traces of rocker decoration over, on both sides. The plate weighs 5.6g. A copper alloy Medieval buckle frame. It is an oval frame with a roller, and an ornate outside edge. The bar is offset and narrowed to take a plate, and is square in section. There are two oval knops on the outside edge, to top and bottom of a central roller. The frame measures 19.47mm in length, 34.13mm in width and weighs 6.31g. Egan illustrates a similar buckle frame from Medieval London (Egan 1991, fig 44, no 301).

A cast copper alloy late Medieval circular buckle with a central bar. It is decorated with moulded florets, now very abraded, and corrosion product covers most of the upper surface. There is a pin bent round the central bar, the latter being square in section. The buckle measures 49.96mm in external diameter, 38.26mm in internal diameter, and weighs 20.64g.

It consists of part of one loop of a probable double-looped frame, central bar missing, The outside edge has a decorative central boss with a ridge at the centre flanked by grooves and outer ridges. A copper alloy Medieval buckle frame. It is a single loop circular frame with a central bar. It has a cut sheet pin which moves freely round the central bar. The buckle frame measures 21.54mm in diameter and weighs 2.82g. The circular frame is faceted and the bar is rectangular in section, showing tooling marks. This type of buckle frame was probably used as a shoe buckle and is likely to be of fifteenth century date.

A Post-Medieval buckle frame, probably a spur buckle. It is an assymetric, double-looped frame, with the inside edge rectangular , and the outside edge curved and expanded at the centre. The frame is angled, and the central bar has been bent in antiquity. Both the inside and outside edges have decoration in the form of an incised line outlining the edges of the frame. There are traces of tinning on the upper surface. The buckle frame measures 36.22mm in length, 26.9mm in width and weighs 6.18g.

It is incomplete, and consists of the outside edge, which has been bent backwards, and one arm of the plate, which is in poor condition and may have been burnt. The outside edge is decorated with transverse grooves, one which may be a pin rest. The object measures 34.96mm in length, 19.98mm in surviving width, and weighs 3.28g.

There is a pin notch at the centre of the outside edge, and traces of white metal coating on both sides of the frame. It measures 18.63mm in surviving length, 28.12mm in width and weighs 3.11g. Examples from medieval London date to the later part of the fourteenth century. (Egan 1991, p.83, no.333)
