A cast copper alloy cup weight of Post-Medieval date. The cup has a flat base and gently flaring sides, most of which have striations cutting into the metal and presumably the result of disturbance by agricultural machinery. The rim is flat and the cup is c.3.2mm in thickness, 24.44mm in diamter across the base and is 21.28mm in height. There are two concentric lines incised around the centre, both inside and out, presumably defining a measure. The cup weighs 53.83g (1.9 oz), and may be part of a nested set. The object's density suggests a high lead content within the copper alloy.

A cast copper alloy Post-Medieval trade weight. It is circular, 14.41mm in diameter, 2.6mm in thickness and weighs 3.10g, which equates to 1/8th of an ounce. There is a small circle stamped at the centre of the upper surface, 2.85mm in diameter. There are two more stamps, including the ewer mark of the London Founders company and a shield, divided into four with a sword in the upper left quadrant. This shield mark is part of the royal cypher, but in the absence of an initial to suggest a monarch, it would suggest that this weight belongs to the Commonwealth period, 1649-1660 AD.

A lead trade weight of Post-Medieval date. It is a circular disc and rather worn. On one side the now obscure outline of a crowned bust can be determined, with the letters C and R to either side, indicating Charles I (1625-1649 AD) There is a small nick in the rim of the disc which is semi-circular and suggestive of a perforation now broken.. From this point there is a raised rib terminating in a small triangle or heart shape (16.9mm in length and 7mm in width) . No other inscription or decoration can be determined. The weight measures 29.62mm in diameter, 3mm in thickness and weighs …

The sides are flat and taper to the apex which is perforated with a circular hole close to its tip. The weight stands 32.53mm in height and weighs 53.71g. Weights of this type with flat bases were intended to be free-standing and examples with a suggested 12th-13th century date are illustrated in Biggs 1992, pp40-41.
