a copper alloy mount of probable medieval date. It is rectangular and measures 18.34mm in length and 8.21mm in width. It is approximately 0.5mm in thickness and weighs 0.4g. Neither of the short edges is complete, and the mount is slightly bent in the centre. A semi-circular rivet hole can be seen along the edge at the point where the mount is bent. Whilst it is not possible to date the object, its use in the medieval period seems most likely.

a copper alloy medieval bar mount. It is a flat rectangular strip 18.5mm in length and 9.5mm in width, weighing 0.7g. The remains of two incomplete rivet holes can be determined at the mid point of each of the shorter terminals. Faint traces of transverse rocker decoration are visible along the length of the mount. The mount was probably attached to a leather strap, and is likely to date from c. 1300 to 1500 AD.
