Three copper alloy mounts or studs of Late to Post-medieval date. They are all a pointed oval shape, domed, with a central integral spike. A copper alloy Roman mount. It consists of two conjoined parts, one a domed terminal with three knobbed projections evenly spaced, and the other a lunulate-shaped terminal, on the fourth side of the dome. This has moulded decoration with a pair of knobs at the centre of the outside edge, resembling those of a terret. On the underside of the dome is a single projecting stud. The underside of the lunula is hollow. The mount measures 26.7mm in length and is 17.32mm wide, weighing 3.37g. A copper alloy Post-Medieval mount with a pair of integral lugs. The mount has one trefoil terminal set on an elongated triangular-shaped body, with a smaller projecting square forming the opposite terminal. The paired lugs on the reverse turn inwards, one is incomplete due to old breaks, and the other is pointed at the tip. The mount measures 25.7mm in length, 8.65mm in width and weighs 1.56g. Such mounts were used to decorate leather straps, and are likely to date to the sixteenth to seventeenth centuries.

A copper alloy Post-Medieval hooked mount, probably associated with a sword belt. It is a rectangular strip 6.45mm wide and with a triangular section. There are two integral rivets on the underside. There is a collar at 21.9mm, beyond which the mount narrows to 4.6mm in width and tapers to a hooked terminal which is incomplete due to an old break. The mount weighs 5.14g. Such mounts were used, during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, on sword-belts to enable the attachment of a sword.

A cast copper alloy Post-Medieval mount. It is complete, with a pair of integral prongs which are pointed and have been bent inwards. The mount has a trefoil shaped terminal which tapers to a waist before swelling slightly to its opposite, rounded terminal. The mount measures 19.72mm in length and 9.67mm in width at its broadest, and 6mm at the narrower terminal. It weighs 1.48g.

A copper alloy Post-Medieval mount fragment. It is a half-acorn shape, and is hollow. At both upper and lower terminals there are semi-circular perforations to allow for attachment. The half-acorn measures 21.45mm in length and is 15.93mm at its widest point at the base, tapering to 8mm at the opposite terminal. The mount weighs 4.32g.

A medieval copper alloy heraldic mount. It is shield-shaped with the upper edge slightly dished and the sides curving to a pointed terminal. There are rivets in situ in the two upper corners, and the remains of a possible third amidst some corrosion at the pointed terminal. The outer surface is worn and abraded, but bears traces of the coat of arms of England, with two lions passant guardant at the top and centre, and space for a third below. It is of sheet metal, approximately circular and 29.35mm in diameter, with a collared, rectangular loop projecting, 15.7mm x 9.6mm, and three evenly spaced projecting knops, one rounded and two pointed, and all pierced with a rivet hole. Its maximum length is 42mm. There are the remains of two lug attachments on the reverse. The mount/clasp weighs 6.55g.

A copper alloy roundel or mount of Early Medieval date. It is circular, with an outer, pennanular rim 35.5mm in diameter and 2.7mm wide and 3.12mm in thickness, having a square section. Within this rim is a double-sided openwork decoration, depicting an animal's head, possibly a dog with a long muzzle, with a curving neck and drooping ear. It is rectangular and tapers to a point at one short terminal, and has three grooved lines of decoration at the opposite, straight terminal. At the centre it has a shallow triangular cross-section, and is decorated with a 'V-shaped' pattern of three grooves which meet at the centre. A copper alloy Medieval plate with bar mount. The plate is rectangular with the inside edge chamfered to a point at the centre. There is a single rivet in situ at the point. The bar mount is attached at the opposite terminal, and is rectangular with a D-shaped section. There is a single central rivet joining it to the plate. The object measures 12.95mm in width, 9.52mm in width and weighs 0.92g. Similar examples from Medieval London come from fourteenth century contexts.

It has a square plate, extending from one side of which is a narrow loop, 5.9mm in width which bends back and is attached to the rear of the plate by a separate rivet. The loop terminates in a pointed lozenge shape. The mount measures 25.16mm in length and 15.43mm in width, with the pendant ring being 16.38mm in external diameter and 3.8mm thick. The object weighs 9.77g.
