A copper alloy incomplete Roman bow brooch, Colchester derivative with double pierced lug type. It consists of an incomplete bow with a fragment of catchplate and incomplete wing cases which are flat, and the lug is broken off. The bow is flat-backed and triangular in section.It has been damaged and is bent in half. There is moulding of two curved lines on either side of the bow head adjacent to the wings. The brooch measures 29.31mm in surviving (and bent) length and 9.53mm in width, and weighs 3.44g. It dates to the mid to later part of the first century AD.

A copper alloy incomplete Roman bow brooch, Colchester derivative type. It consists of the bow with incomplete catchplate and wing cases only, and is very worn. The wing cases are short and flat and incomplete and the rear-facing hook is missing. The bow is flat-backed and has a sunken longitudinal central panel of moulded decoration, and tapers to a point. The brooch measures 34.68mm in length and 8.07mm in width, and weighs 2.7g. It dates to the mid to later part of the first century AD.

A copper alloy incomplete Roman bow brooch, Colchester type. It consists of the bow with incomplete catchplate, wing cases and incomplete spring coil, with pin missing. The wing cases are short and flat, and part of the chord is held by the rear-facing hook. Two coils of the chord are still in situ. The bow is rounded and tapers to a point. The brooch measures 43.32mm in length and 13.53mm in width, and weighs 4.39g. It dates to the early to mid part of the first century AD.

The wings are short and semi-cylindrical, and no decoration can be determined because the metal is worn. The bow has a flat back and rounded profile. Moulded decoration extends from the head down the length of the bow. The bow narrows toward its foot, and is incomplete due to old breaks which have also removed the catchplate. The wings form a complete cylindrical case, and have bands of moulded decoration on either side of the bow head. They terminate with rounded knop ends.
