A Post-Medieval lead powder charger cap c.1600-1700 AD. It is complete but bent out of shape. It is cup-shaped with a flat oval base from which two integral loops protrude. There is casting seam from rim to base on opposite sides of the cup, and a small oval piece of lead is adhering to the seam on one side. The cap measures 29.7mm in estimated diameter, 14.2mm in height, 29.31mm in length across the base including the loops, and weighs 19.9g.
