A cast copper alloy Medieval or Post Medieval vessel fragment. It is part of an arm from a tripod ewer, pitcher or cauldron, and would have formed an angled link between the body of the vessel and its rim. A similar arm would have matched it on the opposite side of the vessel, and a handle for suspension would have been attached through both arms. ( Egan 1998, fig131, no.446). The fragment includes a flat rectangular surface that would have been soldered to the vessel body, and a length of rectangular shank which leaves the plate at an angle of 30 degrees. A copper alloy Medieval armorial stud. It is shield-shaped with a large integral shank centrally placed on the reverse. The front face bears a lion rampant, but apart from the tail, not much can be seen because of the corrosion of the metalwork. The stud plate is small, 17.8mm in length, 13.88mm in width and weighing 5.36g. The shank extends at right angles for a length of 8.5mm and is rectangular in section. Ashley 2002 illustrates two similar examples, fig.15 nos 128 and 132.

A copper alloy Medieval buckle frame. It is an oval frame which is faceted, and has an ornate outside edge with two knops outlined by grooves to either side of a pin notch. The bar is offset and narrowed, with knops to top and bottom. The pin is wrapped around the bar and moves freely. It tapers to a sharp point. The buckle frame measures 17.41mm in length, 24.86mm in width and weighs 3.14g. The pin is a narrow rectangular strip, 2.25mm in width and 14.9mm in length excluding the loop around the bar.

A copper alloy Medieval purse bar fragment. It is the central box, perforated longitudinally through the centre which would have held a swivelling loop. It also includes two short lengths of projecting arms both of which are heavily moulded, the decoration suggesting abstract animal head terminals. The central 'box' is incised all over with cross-hatched lines on one side, but with only a pair of parallel lines on the other.The top of the box is flat, and the lower terminal has curving shoulder sloping inwards. A copper alloy Medieval buckle frame and plate. The frame is D-shaped and faceted, with the bar offset and narrowed, with thickened knops to top and bottom. A shield-shaped plate is attached to the bar, and is recessed to top and bottom to accommodate the knops on the bar. There is a pin-slot, but the pin is now missing. The plate wraps around the bar, and fixes with two rivets, parts of which are still in situ. One of the rivet holes is incomplete due to old breaks. A sheet copper alloy Post-Medieval mount. It is hinged, and may have been used as a book or casket mount. A short rectangular plate,decorated with an indented terminal and small central knop, has two rivet holes each with corroded rivet remains. This is attached to a second plate, connected by the hinge and set at right angles. This plate has a rivet hole near the hinge, and is shaped with an openwork rectangle surmounted by a trefoil shape, perforated for a rivet and terminating with a point. The object measures 25.58mm in lenth, 9.88mm in height and 9.89mm in width. It weighs 2.4g.

A Medieval copper alloy rotary or casket key. The tip as well as part of the bit are missing, due to old breaks. The key has a flat, lozenge shaped bow with with a central perforation, and a projecting oval shaped knop at the top with two incised circumferential grooves. Both pointed sides of the bow also have projecting knops, one side larger than the other, and are sub-oval in shape. The bow is separated from the stem by a transverse collar. A copper alloy Late Medieval finger ring. It is complete, with a narrow D-shaped hoop and a rectangular collet. The latter has its corners cut off to form an octagonal shape at its upper surface. The shoulders are not defined but there is fine transverse moulding to either side of the collet. The ring measures 19.81mm in diameter, and the collet is 10.23mm x 10.00mm, and 5.5mm deep. It weighs 3.01g. There is no trace of paste, stone or glass within the setting.

A copper alloy sheet-metal Medieval strap-end. It is a composite strap-end with a sheet spacer occupying the full width. The object is rectangular, and tapers gently from one straight terminal to the opposite end which has sloping shoulders and neck and then a trefoil knop. There is a single rivet in situ close to the centre of the straight edged terminal. The strap end measures 43.05m in length, 11.28mm in width, tapering to 7.5mm at the knop terminal, and weighs 6.04g.

A copper alloy Medieval annular brooch fragment. It consists of about half of the brooch, with an ornate hoop and four collets evenly spaced. The hoop has a flat back, and the upper surface is decorated with panels between the collets having four perforations arranged in a square. At the centre of each panel, on the outside edge, there is a rounded knop flanked by two short bars, the effect of which produces a frilled edge. A copper alloy Medieval buckle frame. It is oval and resembles a Meols type 2 shape. The frame is thickened to top and bottom of the bar, which is narrow and circular in section. The outside edge is expanded and drawn outwards at its centre, thus creating two small, decorative peaks. there are traces of gilding on the outer surface of the frame. The buckle measures 13.55mm in length, 19.75mm in width and weighs 2.08g.

A copper alloy Medieval bar-mount. It is incomplete due to old breaks, and consists of a central lobe, with parts of the circular rivet protrusions to top and bottom. The mount is domed and the central lobe is decorated with fine cross-hatching. The mount measures 13.79mm in surviving length and 9mm in width at its maximum. It weighs 1.16g. An example from Medieval London is illustrated in Egan & Pritchard 1991, no.1161, fig.134.

The pits appear to have been made in vertical rows running up the sides and over the top to the centre of the dome of the thimble. It measures 17.57mm in diameter, 12.84mm in height and weighs 2.36g.

A copper alloy Late Medieval thimble. It has been knocked out of shape and is now oval with straight sides and a lightly domed top. The surface is worn and the pitting appears to start in places at the rim, which has a short notch. The pitting, with circular holes, continues over the entire surface of the thimble. It measures 20.71mm in height, and the distorted opening measures 23.23mm x 16.14mm. The thimble weighs 5.94g. 1400-1500

A complete copper alloy Medieval harness pendant. It is a shield-shaped pendant with a suspension loop at the top, turned at ninety degrees. There is a device of a lion rampant occupying the whole field, with red enamel surrounding it. The pendant measures 40.93mm in length, 23.8mm in width, 3.47mm in thickness and weighs 13.36g. An example with a similar device and disposition of the tail, is illustrated from Norfolk in Ashley 2002, no.75.
