a cast copper alloy button, of 16th century date. It has a circular solid domed front, octagonal shape around the edge and decorated with a moulded eight-petalled fleurette. It has a long shank with a central circular piercing. It measures 14.32mm in diameter, and is 16.38mm, weighing 5.2g.

three copper alloy fragments from a cast copper alloy skillet or cauldron. There are two body and one rim fragment, all with sooting on the exterior surface. a)upright rim, 37.68mm in length, 26.4mm in width, weight 12.16g b)body frag. 17.6mm in length, 47.13mm wide, weight 15.51g c) body frag. 39.27mm in length, 39.49mm in width, weight 14.28g cast copper alloy vessels were in widespread use, especially in the period between 1300 and 1600 AD.

a late Roman pot sherd. It is a single sherd from a flanged bowl of Hadham redware, with the flange diameter being 170mm. The sherd is 124mm in length, 45.28mm in width and weighing 116.24g. The flange has finger-tip impressions along its base. Both the upper and lower parts of the bowl of the vessel are incomplete, and none of the rim is present.

Medieval and Post-medieval sherds found whilst fieldwalking. 1)one rim sherd of a Thetford type ware cooking pot, 15cm in diameter, dating to the 9th - 12th centuries . 2) post-medieval sherds (not quantified) include one barley-sugar twist handle, and two strap handle sherds, with green glaze. 3) 42 body sherds of medieval coarseware of 12th-14th century date.
