A cas copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment, Colchester derivative type. 43-100 AD. It consists of the wings and upper bow only, the coil, pin and catch-plate are missing. The wings are shallow and not quite semi-cylindrical, and are decorated on the outside with several bands of transverse mouldings. The bow has a central longitudinal panel of moulding and is incomplete at the foot because of old breaks. The reverse side of the bow has a hollow channel. The brooch fragment measures 28.23mm in surviving length and is 29.19mm in width across the wings. It weighs 8.05g.

A copper alloy Roman headstud brooch, almost complete. The pin is missing and the chain loop is incomplete. The wings are short with three steps of moulding from the ends to the bow. There is circular casing for the axis bar behind the wings. The headstud has a raised rim and central dot, and the bow is rectangular in section above the headstud. A copper alloy Roman plate brooch. It is a lozenge-shaped brooch, with three steps up to the central lozenge,the centre of which is dished and contains traces of a white paste of possible infil. It has a domed, rounded hollow on the underside. The brooch has a pin fitting consisting of double lugs set close together and perforated to take a bar to hold the pin, now missing. The hoop has a flat back, and the upper surface is decorated with panels between the collets having four perforations arranged in a square. A copper alloy Roman brooch. It is a Colchester derivative double lug type, with the lugs, coil and pin missing. The wing case is semi-cylindrical but the edges are worn, incomplete and corroded. The bow is D-shaped in section with some faceting, and a flat back. There may be some moulding on the upper bow, but again, the surface is worn and corroded. A copper alloy medieval annular brooch frame. The frame is faceted and has a constriction for a pin which is in situ. The pin has a ridged collar, and there are further ridges along its length which may have been formed deliberately. The poor quality of the metalwork generally, however, makes this uncertain. The pin tip is sharp and curves upward slightly where it meets the edge of the frame. The brooch measures 18.46mm in external diameter and is 2.87mm in width. It weighs 2.15g.

A copper alloy Roman brooch, Colchester derivative with rear hook type. Part of the semi-cylindrical wings survive along with the rearward facing hook and upper bow. The metalwork is corroded and the surfaces are pitted, obscuring any decoration apart from a suggestion of moulding on both wings. The brooch fragment measures 16.28mm in surviving width and is 27.42m in length. The bow has a flat back, and the brooch weighs 4.32g. A date range of 40-70 AD is suggested in Blagg et al, 2004, p.93, for this type of brooch.
