The latter is flattened and oval, 2.74mm in width and 15.64mm in length. The surface of the metal is very worn, and some decorative elements exist upon the head but are difficult to determine, beyond the two eyes and tongue closest to the tip of the terminal. A copper alloy Roman bracelet fragment. It is a plain, annular bracelet of which about half is extant, the rest missing due to old breaks. It has a D-shaped section and is 3.54mm in width, with an internal diameter of 39.7mm, weighing 3.74g. As that part of the bracelet which had the clasp is missing, it is uncertain whether this bracelet was worn by a child or adult, but bracelets of similar dimensions are recorded from Colchester (Crummy 1983, fig.42,no.1643, fig.43, no.1653). Most bracelet finds recorded from Colchester date to the third or fourth centuries.

A Roman copper-alloy bracelet terminal fragment of snake type. It has an oval 'snake's head' terminal, 10.4mm wide, and part of the band, with a very worn surface is decorated with transverse grooving. The band is 5.45mm wide and the surviving length of the fragment is 39.24mm. It weighs 3.02g. The terminal is also very worn but the outline shape of a snake's head can just be determined. This form of bracelet dates to the mid 1st-4th century, although the snake's head type is more common in the second or third centuries.

a late Roman copper alloy strip bracelet fragment. It is a curved rectangular strip measuring 42.75mm in length and 6.25mm in width. It is 2mm thick and weighs 4.18g. The fragment is worn and both terminals are incomplete. Decoration along the bracelet starts from one terminal with a ring and dot motif followed by three transverse grooves. There are irregular notches visible along both long edges, suggesting crenellation, but the surfaces are too worn to be certain. Bracelets of similar type from Colchester are illustrated in Crummy 1983, fig.44.
