a copper alloy strap loop of medieval date. It is trapezoidal in shape, with a rounded projection from the centre of one shorter side, and iron corrosion adhering to the centre of the opposite shorter side. There are traces of white metal coating on both front and back faces. The mount measures 18.46mm in length, 26.9mm in width and weighs 2.62g. Examples of this type of strap loop have been recorded from medieval London in a fourteenth century context.

Both the rim and the top are unthickened. The sewing ring rim measures 16.52mm in diameter, and it is 9.22mm in height, weighing 4.45g. Sewing rings of this type date from the fifteenth century and continue into the Post-Medieval period.

a lead Medieval pilgrim or religious badge fragment. It is trapezoid in shape and is probably one transverse arm of a Tau cross. It is an expanded arm, measuring 16.10mm in length, 3mm in thickness, and tapers from 13.09mm in width at one terminal, to 6.76mm at the other, which is incomplete. This would have attached to the rest of the cross. It weighs 2.06g. There is decoration on both sides, consisting of small pellets along the borders, and a raised curvilinear patten, with background criss-cross treatment. a complete lead ampulla or holy water flask, of circa 15th century date. It is pouch-shaped, measuring 53.36mm in length and 25.35mm wide, with two rounded suspension loops one on either side at the waist. The front face is decorated with a lily, longitudinally down the centre, and an initial R within a circle on the belly of the flask. The letter R is associated with Walsingham, and may stand for 'Richelde' ( Michiner 1986). The reverse is decorated with a scallop shell design.

a copper alloy medieval harness pendant. It is shield-shaped, with a loop at the centre of the upper edge, turned at right angles. The upper edge is 24.15mm in width, and the overal length of the pendant, includng the loop is 41.7mm. The object weighs 8.82g. Traces of a heraldic device can be seen on the surface of the pendant, but the wear and corrosion preclude an identification. It is likely to date to the fourteenth century.

a copper alloy medieval harness pendant. It is square (though bent out of shape probably through plough damage) with sides measuring 37.9mm in length and is thin, less than 1.5mm in thickness. It has a single loop in the centre of the upper edge, turned at right angles and extending for 10.75mm. The pendant has stamped and gilded decoration on the upper surface, producing an openwork pattern ressembling a six-petalled flower around a central circular perforation. a complete medieval personal lead seal matrix. It is flat and circular, 40.2mm in diameter, and 4.15mm thick. The reverse is flat with a raised rib along the centre. On the front the central area is plain except for a fleur de lis motif, separated by a single circular line from the surrounding legend. The legend reads S' A C G[or E] ? G F I L R I C ? B O L ? ? ?. A transcript is not possible, but might include: Seal of A etc, son of Richard etc Personal seals of this type date to the thirteenth century, having their origins in the late twelfth.

It is likely to be from a skillet or cauldron, and there are signs of sooting on the outer surface, The rim measures 43.7mm in length,and 36.42mm in width along the rim, tapering to 13.77mm in width along the incomplete bottom edge. The fragment weighs 27.08g. Similar vessels fom medieval London have been recorded in contexts dating to the 12th-16th centuries.

a copper alloy medieval buckle frame. It is circular, with an external diameter of 24.46mm, internal diameter 18.22mm. It is mostly composed of a cable pattern, between 3.32 and 4mm in thickness, except for a short length, 11.4mm , which is straightened and flattened and 1.5mm thick. There is green corrosion product over all the surfces and no detail can be detected. The buckle frame weighs 3.12g, and is likely to date to the fourteenth century.

a copper alloy medieval strap end of fourteenth century date. It is rectangular, with one short terminal being straight, and the opposite one being rounded (or tongue-shaped). There is one rivet in each corner of the straight edge, and fragments of leather are just visible between the metal plates. About half-way along the strap end there is openwork decoration in the form of two pairs of piercings, two smaller circles above two larger ones. The surfaces are very worn and eroded. It measures 35.11mm in length and 16.04mm in width at the straight edge, weighing 6.3g.
