A silver short-cross cut half penny, 1180-1242 AD. The reverse inscription suggests ND for LVND, the London mint, and RA would be the beginning of the moneyer's name. The coin is worn and insufficient survives to determine who the moneyer was. Ravl and Randvl were London moneyers from Classes 1-2 (1180-90 AD) and Ravlf, Classes 5-7 (1204-1272AD).

The coin has been cut along the radius between the lines of a voided long cross, but is incomplete due to old breaks on the adjacent quadrant. The diameter is estimated on the cut radius of 8.77mm. The reverse legend suggests the moneyer was Huge, Nichole or Willeme. The coin could therefore belong to class IIa, IIIa-c (Huge),class Ib-Vg, (Nichole) or class Ib -Vg (Willeme). Insufficient of the coin survives for more precise dating.
