The brooch has tapering cylindrical wings, an iron axis bar and pin (missing) and a projecting bow decorated with a slight ridge with engraved transverse lines. The catchplate does not survive and the wings have broken off. There are traces of iron corrosion behind the head. Dimensions: 46.27 by 11.12mm by 15.28mm. Weight 7.96g.

A cast copper alloy and enamel zoomorphic brooch of Roman date. The incomplete three-dimensional cockerel brooch measures 31.3mm by 24.9mm by 25.2mm and weighs 8.4g. The cockerel's body is hollow and oval. Its flat head and tail feathers project upwards from the body.
