A ceramic sherd of probable Iron Age date. The body sherd measures 26.5mm by 24.9mm by 8.1mm and weighs 5.3g. The sherd has reduced dark brownish-grey surfaces, more oxidised mid-brown margins and a dark brownish-grey core. The fabric is reasonably fine with abundant fine sand. The exterior is decorated with two parallel lines of small incised dots.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester one-piece brooch of late Iron Age or early Roman date. The surviving part of the brooch measures 60.8mm by 13.5mm by 3.4mm and weighs 5.7g. It comprises the crossbar, the rearward hook which would have kept the chord in place, the curving bow and a short length of the spring. The bow is plain with a circular cross-section and tapers to a point. Very little of the catchplate survives.

An incomplete cast copper alloy La Tene type I brooch of Iron Age date. The surviving portion of the one-piece brooch measures 38.6mm by 6.6mm by 6mm and weighs 10.8g. It comprises the bow and one twist of the spring. The pin, catchplate and terminal are missing. The bow has a circular cross-section. Several similar brooches are illustrated in Hattatt's 'Visual Catalogue' (e.g. nos. 724 and 725 on p. 288, both of which are from Britain but are not more precisely provenanced).

An incomplete cast copper alloy Strip brooch of late Iron Age to early Roman date. The brooch measures 70.5g by 18.2g by 2.7g and weighs 7.6g. The surviving part comprises the bow, which has been bent straight, the incomplete triangular catchplate and one side of the cross-bar. The other side of the cross-bar, the spring, hook and pin are missing. The front of the bow is decorated with two vertical lines of linely incised knurling. A probable cast copper alloy tankard handle fragment of late Iron Age date. The oval slightly curving fragment measures 36.1mm by 30.2mm by 8.1mm and weighs 25.3g. It appears to be the central section from a tankard handle which was originally broadly similar to example h on plate 230 of Jope's 'Early Celtic Art in the British Isles'. This example, which is from Stoke Abbott, Dorset, has two trumpet-like terminals for attachment to a wooden vessel, each with an adjacent openwork loop which in turn adjoined an oval central section. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Colchester one-piece brooch of early Roman date. The surviving part of the brooch measures 33.4mm by 11.4mm by 13.3mm and weighs 2.6g. It comprises the crossbar (one side of which is damaged), the rearward hook which kept the incomplete chord in place, the curving bow and about half of the spring. The bow is plain and tapers to a point. Very little of the catchplate survives.

A body sherd of probable late Iron Age date. The sherd measures 51.7mm by 39mm by 9.3mm and weighs 17.8g. It is a reduced mid to dark brownish-grey throughout, with the exception of the internal surface which is a more oxidised buff. The fabric is very sandy and micaceous, with sparse larger whitish (probably rounded quartz) and black (probably balck iron ore) inclusions (up to 1mm).The exterior surface of the vessel has a moulded horizontal bead with a perpendicular ridge and parallel incised line below.

A probable cast copper alloy bowl suspension-ring escutcheon of Iron Age date. The incomplete broadly oval escutcheon measures 30.9mm by 18.8mm by 11.2mm and weighs 12.1g. The front is convex and the back is concave, damaged and uneven. The front is also rather pitted but less so than the back and some decoration can be discerned. Half of a silvered cast copper alloy miniature snaffle bit of probable late Iron Age to early Roman date. The miniature bit measures 35.4mm by 27.8mm by 6.6mm and weighs 4.8g. It is broadly cross-shaped, with a small jump ring in a different cooper alloy which links to a perpendicular loop at the end of the shortest arm of the cross. The sherd has an black reduced exterior surface, a more oxidised mid brown core and a light orange/buff interior surface.
