Romano-British Maxey-type bow-and-fantail brooch, pin and small piece of edge of bow missing. Seven-coil spring with axis bar and chord secured in double-pierced lug. Traces of tinning on plain wings. Three grooves and off-centre rib on bow, interrupted just above junction with fantail, which is decorated with engraved line and row of punched dots down sides and along base. Moulded channel in catchplate along springing of flap. Wingspan 15mm. Length 29mm. Late 1st century.

Unfinished Early Saxon oval buckle frame with flashing and sprue attached. A sprue is attached to one side and a flat sheet of metal fills the lower part of the inner space and extends outwards from near the flat underside to a jagged edge. The flashing indicates that the two parts of the mould were imperfectly occluded. Frame 8.5 x 16mm. Whole object 21.5 x 13mm. Thickness of flashing <0.5mm. Mid 5th - 7th century.

Incomplete Early Saxon girdle hanger which has been subject to repair. Lower end missing, break not recent. The top end is also missing, ancient break. On the reverse a rebate has been created and a rivet is held in a secondary hole near the break. Silvery material, probably solder, is visible on the base of the rebate and there is a small speck on the front near the rivet. Engraved and punched decoration on the front face consists, from the top, of three transverse grooves, saltire, three more grooves, two vertical rows of dots, two transverse grooves, saltire, two more grooves, two …
