Post medieval harness mount or belt mount, flat, a cross fleury with two integral round sectioned attachment spikes on reverse. Moulded details include a central concave sided lozenge, raised borders and pellets on the arms and teardrop mouldings at the ends of the arms. Poorly cast: two interstices are wholly blocked, and the other two partly. Bent spikes suggest leather c.3mm across. Width 16mm. cf. Read 2001 no. 275. 16th - 17th century.

Incomplete pair of post-medieval dividers, cylindrical handle with integral suspension loop. Hinge with iron spindle. Double ribbed moulding on the sides of the handle but not on the ends. Lower part of one tapering arm and almost all of the other missing. The former is of rectangular section at the top, where it is marked with an engraved saltire. Below this the outer corners are chamfered, and the inner face is file marked. Length >70mm. 16th - 17th century.

Medieval belt mount with single separate rivet. Cast but with engraved grooves between lobes. The four lobed motif is probably foliar. There is a slight concavity on the reverse. 17 x 11.5mm. Rivet projects 3mm from reverse. Similar in treatment to figurative mounts such as Dress Accessories no. 1083 and Read 2001 no. 136-7. First half 15th century.

Very small possible Bronze Age awl with tapering rectangular sectioned tang and round sectioned spike. At the proximal end of the spike a rebate to the narrower tang acts as a strong stop ridge. If Bronze Age then very much shorter than normal and with an abnormal distinction between the two parts. Length 39mm. Maximum diameter of point 7mm. Maximum width of tang 4mm. Weighing 3.22g.

Early Anglo-Saxon circular escutcheon frame and integral hook of hanging bowl, with suspension ring engaged with the hook, disc missing. The frame, broken and distorted, is decorated with moulded transverse grooves, and is of D-section but chamfered on the reverse around the inner edge. The hook, which has been squashed down to touch the frame, terminates in an animal head with moulded brow, blind-hole eyes and jaws open to receive the rim. Early Saxon fragment of upper part of girdle hanger with incomplete suspension loop. Below this a undecorated moulding, that appears triangular from the front, gives way to the rectangular sectioned shank. Only a short and distorted length of the shank is present. At the non-recent break shank measures 6 x 1.5mm. Late 5th - 6th century.

Early Anglo-Saxon copper alloy bow brooch, probably a small-long, in decayed and abraded condition, with all edges recently scuffed. The headplate is now roughly square. The bow tapers downwards from one rectangular panel forming facets to another. The footplate also tapers, but no details are visible and the terminal is missing. On the reverse, a single pin lug is partly buried in the remains of the iron spring, and there is an incomplete catchplate. Medieval gilt oval buckle frame with (mostly missing) offset narrowed bar and widened outside edge. Surfaces very abraded but patches of gilding extant. 41 x 22.5mm. 13th - 14th century. The size and the condition suggests this may be part of the same buckle as the following item. Medieval semi-circular front part of sheet buckle plate broken at fold, with pin slot, frame recesses and three rivets (one convex headed, probably a replacement). The surfaces are very abraded. Possibly once gilt. 24 x 37mm. 13th - 14th century. Probably part of same buckle as the previous item.
