3 Mesolithic/ Early Neolithic blades. Two are narrow, with parallel edges, a little over 45mm in length (both appear to have lost one end). The one with an intact proximal end has a heavily abraded platform. They are in a pale brownish grey flint, unpatinated. The third is broader and in a glossy dark brown flint. It has an abraded platform and in probably hard hammer struck. Mesolithic - Early Neolithic c.7000 - c.3000 BC

Neolithic scraper (with additional retouch). Dimensions 53 x 23 x 10mm. Made on a blade-like flake of dark brown flint. Both lateral edges and the distal end have rather coarse steep retouch and show signs of wear. The flake has been hard hammer struck and the proximal end has damage indicating that several blows had been necessary to separate it.

Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age fabricator (length 46mm). This delicately formed flint tool would probably have been used for fine pressure flaking of small flint artefacts such as arrowheads. It is itself was prepared by and shaped by pressure flaking and form the technique employed it can probably be dated to the Beaker period, c.2300 – c. 1700 BC.

Late Prehistoric/Lower Paleolithic Retouched (reutilised) flake. Secondary flake, in the form of a scalene triangle, in brown stained flint with two patches of thick weathered and brown stained cortex on the dorsal face. The left lateral edge has fine steep retouch along its distal edge while the right edge has a shallow, ventrally retouched, notch on its proximal edge together with a larger scalar removal. All these modifications are recent, post-staining, suggesting reuse of an old flake. Probably a reused Palaeolithic flake.
