A copper-alloy hinged fitting of post-medieval date: probably a book clasp (c. 18th century). The object is comprised of two plates of comparable length, both broadly trapezoidal, with a slight curve, one with bowed sides. This latter has a plain outer surface and may thus be considered the lower plate. It is attached to the upper plate by a long, central tubular loop, which travels round an axis bar retained on the upper plate by two lateral tubes. An incomplete disc from a cast lead-alloy cloth, or alnage, seal dating from the post-medieval period, probably the reign of Queen Anne (1702-1714), dating to 1707-1714.
The obverse shows the post 1707 arms of Great Britain, surmounted by a lion passant above the crown and with the arms supported by the lion and the unicorn with rose and thistle beneath them. The arms are encircled with the garter motto: HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE; below the arms is a banner bearing the legend DIEU ET MON DROIT, now truncated. Traces of a gilt finish survive in places.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy dress fastener (c. 16th-17th century). The object consisted of a circular plate with moulded decoration based around a central rose. The hook and loops have broken off, all breaks being worn. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The plate has a raised rim, with two loops formerly at the 11 and 1 o'clock position respectively. A complete gold mourning ring with black enamel decoration and internal inscription, of post-medieval date, c. 1600-1750.
The ring consists of a triangular sectioned gold hoop, with an exposed median ridge of gold. The exterior surface is decorated with heavy blue-black enamelling, which is lost in places, along with a trace of white enamel (probably from a depiction of a skull). A cast copper-alloy annular brooch of medieval date (c. 13th-14th century), now missing its pin, but otherwise complete. Its piriform (drop-shaped) frame is flat at the front and the outer edge has a small rebate (step down) around the periphery. Each side of the frame, on the front face, are three equally spaced collets; the tops of some are abraded. Two of the collets contain settings of a soft white paste, probably calcium carbonate. A small copper-alloy medieval casket key, dating to c. AD 1150-1400.
The key has a broadly circular bow with an off-centre circular perforation. The bit is a simple rectangle with clefts on either side. The key has a hollow shank end. The object has a green coloured worn patina.
Similar examples were recovered from excavations in London which dated from between 1150 and 1400 (Egan 1998, 111-112, nos 294-298).

An incomplete copper-alloy lid from a set of nested cup weights. The lid is hinged and would originally have been attached to the outer case of the set, and it retains its hinge-lug, though this is now broken through. Three sub-rectangular struts are situated on the upper side of the lid: two arranged in a V shape emerging from one side and a single in between the V from the other side, this latter now truncated. A cast copper-alloy uniface trade weight dating to the post-medieval period, c. 1625-1685.
The object is circular and flattened in cross-section. The upper surface is flattened with a low rim. A circular punch acted as a centring mark. The upper face is also stamped with the Royal cypher mark for Charles I or II at around 11 o'clock, the sword of St Paul at around 1 o'clock, and an ewer (the stamp of Arms of the Founder's Company of London) at 6 o'clock.
