The abraded, and slightly bent, terminal of a post-medieval cast lead-alloy (pewter) spoon handle of late 17th-century date. Only this element of the flat handle remains; the rest is lost to an old break, while its own terminal is unclear due to abrasions. It is broadly trapezoidal, tapering from an expanded terminal. On the front it is decorated with a raised cast floral design: a flower, possibly a tulip, with large head and leaves emerging from a central stalk; any design below the ground on which this sits is unclear. The reverse bears initials P . L in low relief.
