A probably complete, but now squashed, gold finger-ring (mourning ring) of early- to mid-18th-century date. It has a rectangular bezel for a now missing setting. The bezel's long sides have been squashed in. The exterior is decorated with a pair of grooves that run all around. A very worn fragment from a cast copper-alloy vessel: a pot leg probably dating to the post-medieval period, c. AD 1500-1750.
The leg is sub-triangular to sub-trapezoidal cross section with a flat back and an angled front. On the front there are suggestions of a central longitudinal ridge. A loss to one of the sides may have resulted in part from the leaching out of lead in the alloy during use (Naomi Payne pers. comm.)

A very worn fragment from a cast copper-alloy vessel: a pot leg/foot probably dating to the post-medieval period, c. AD 1500-1750.
The leg is D-shaped in cross section with a flat back and a convex front. Just below an old break is a prominent and wide transverse rib. The foot is so worn through in-life use that its original form has surely been lost, leaving a rounded terminal.

An incomplete white metal coated copper-alloy Roman belt mount (strap-fitting) of 1st-century date. Around 30% of the original mount has been lost to old breaks, at one short end, but also the adjacent longer sides. At the other end, the short side is seemingly intact, with a raised transverse strip; the recessed reverse may have retained a separate rod. The mount is formed of a thin, pressed sheet plate a raised concentric circle design having covered most of the field. This was formed of a central pellet in a dished recess with a raised ring around, at approximately the same hei…
