Blade fragment from a Late Bronze age copper alloy socketed axe, probably of Ewart Park metalworking, corresponding to Needham's (1996) Period 6, c. 950-750BC. The axe has a surviving height of 43.8mm and has a width at the break of 40.6mm. The body has rounded sides, producing an oval body profile. The sides are straight and divergent towards an expanded blade. The casting seams are no longer evident on the sides. The blade tips have been lost and the blade has a surviving length of 47.5mm. An Iron Age silver unit of Cunobeline dating to the early to mid-1st century AD. It depicts a head facing left and is inscribed CAMV on the obverse. This inscription confirms that it was struck at Camulodunum (Colchester). The reverse depicts Victory seated facing right and underneath is inscribed CVNO. The coin is 12.8 minimum and 13.6mm maximum diameter. It is 1.7mm thick and weighs 1.2g.

Roman copper alloy wax spatula handle, probably of 2nd to early 3rd century date. The handle is complete, although the iron blade has been lost. The handle has a length of 56.7mm and depicts the bust of the goddess Minerva. Minerva is depicted wearing a crested helmet with a depth at the rim of 17.9mm and a thickness of 10.4mm. There is no decoration on the crest or the helmet, but it is faceted because of filing, with the striations surviving. Hair is depicted beneath the level of the helmet.
