An Iron Age coin of the Western area or the 'Dobunni'. The coin is a plated silver unit bearing a head on the obverse and a horse facing right on the reverse. The type is the same as the example in Mack's Coinage of Britain (383-4) and that in Allen's The Origins of Coinage in Ancient Britain (I,J).

An Iron Age silver unit of Cunobeline dating to the early to mid-1st century AD. It depicts a head facing left and is inscribed CAMV on the obverse. This inscription confirms that it was struck at Camulodunum (Colchester). The reverse depicts Victory seated facing right and underneath is inscribed CVNO. The coin is 12.8 minimum and 13.6mm maximum diameter. It is 1.7mm thick and weighs 1.2g.
