Roman copper alloy bow brooch fragment of Polden Hill variant type and dating to the 1st century AD. The brooch is incomplete and is represented by the head only and has a surviving height of 18.80mm. The wings are short with a width of 16.88mm. The missing spring was secured with an open Polden Hill type arrangement and the chord was anchored with a lug on the head. A 17th century halfpenny token. The token is inscribed *EDWARD·BEVAN· on the obverse, ·OF·MONMOVTH around the edge of the reverse and HIS HALF PENY in three lines in the centre of the reverse with EBE clockwise in a triangle from bottom left. This halfpenny was therefore issued by Edward Bevan, a tallow chandler in Monmouth, portrayed on the obverse as a man dipping two candles. It is undated, but is from the 1660's.

Copper alloy tanged and collared chisel, probably dating to the Ewart Park phase of the Late Bronze Age (c.950-750 BC). The chisel is complete and is 98.3mm long. The tang is of square section and tapers to a curved edge. The base of the tang is defined by a rounded collar moulding, 6.2mm thick and 8.0mm wide. The blade sides diverge in a near straight (slightly concave) to a gently curved cutting edge of 24.3mm width. Some of the original surface survives on the chisel with a mid-green patina. The chisel weighs 18.1g.
