A cast copper-alloy strap mount dating to the 16th - 18th century. The mount is lozenge-shaped. Two attachment spikes project from the reverse, but these are now broken and only a stumps remain. These spikes would have allowed the mount to be attached to a leather strap. The metal has a mid greyish-brown patina, with a black lacquer coating and is worn, much of the original surface has been lost.

A cast copper alloy mount or strap fitting. The mount comprises three main features, but it is unclear which way around the mount would have been positioned. The main body of the mount is oval in shape and has been decorated with incised lines, made to resemble a shell. Projecting out of the tip of this main section is a rounded knop with a circular terminal. On the other side of the main section there is some sort of attachment fitting (now broken). A single looped oval buckle with integral forked spacer, cast in copper alloy. The buckle frame has a triangle lip projection where the terminal of the pin would have rested. The pin recess sits in-between the forks of the spacer, on the strap bar. The pin is missing. The buckle plate is also missing. Both prongs are broken. The tapering prongs of the forked spacer have two steps cut into the copper alloy. This stepping occurs on the inner edges of the fork. A copper alloy tear-dropped shaped mount. The front surface of the mount has been gilded. There is a knop on the rounded end of the mount and a trilobate knop on the pointed end of the mount. The reverse is undecorated and ungilded. On the reverse two spikes survive which would have held the mount onto either wood or leather. The mount appears to be complete apart from the broken spike. A cast copper alloy double looped buckle frame, with a narrow strap bar. There is no pin recess, the pin is missing. Both surfaces are undecorated. The buckle is complete apart from the missing pin. The buckle is a dark reddish-brown colour and the surface is quite pitted. These buckles date from circa 1350 - 1650. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, 2003, p53.

A cast lead token. The token is flat and circular, with a thin section. The obverse of the token depicts five pellets (four in a square, one in the centre). The lead has gone a mid whitish-grey colour. The reverse is blank. Due to a lack of context this token can only be loosely dated from between circa 1400 – 1850 AD.

A bowl of a clay pipe dating from 1700 onwards. The bowl is all that remains of the clay pipe, as the entire stem has been snapped off. Both sides of the bowl depict a cricket bat, ball and a set of stumps. Underneath each cricket set is a texturised pattern possibly depicting grass. The mould joining line is visible on the rear of the bowl.

A possible leg or handle fragment from a Bronze (copper-alloy) vessel, from the Late Medieval or Post-Medieval period. The fragment may have been part of a cauldron or a plate/dish. The fragment has a flat side; the other has a raised area possibly the base of a handle or a claw ridge on a foot. The raised area is 27.83mm thick and thinnest part of the fragment is 6.04mm thick. The surface of this fragment has a dark green patina and retains a great deal of its original black surface colour. All the edges are broken and are slightly worn.

A leg fragment from a Bronze (copper-alloy) vessel, from the Late Medieval or Post-Medieval period. The fragment may have been part of a cauldron or a plate/dish. The leg is triangular in shape the widest part being the base of the foot. The foot appears to have three small lobes at the front, the back is slightly concave. The surface of this leg has a dark green patina with a small amount of it’s original black surface. The top of the leg is broken and worn.
