Unidentified cast copper-alloy object. The object is incomplete in length and would have been hollow, but only half of its total diameter has survived so the object is now C-shaped. The hollow inside of the surviving part of the object is four-sided, flat and plain. The outside of the object consists of two integral parts. From the break edge the first half of the object is plain with four thin (2.6mm) flat sides. Beyond this the object becomes thicker (9.6mm) as it projects out at a right angle for a distance of 5.5mm before tapering inwards to meet the internal edge of the objec…

Fragment of a copper-alloy pipe, probably late medieval in date. This fragment is broken off at one end and has three rows of knobs at the other resembling a mace. This is not a mace head as such since these are normally made of iron. One possibility is that this is part of a candle holder from the later medieval period (1300 onwards) although again these objects are much more common in iron. If from a candle holder it might be from the central section of the stand. As this is clearly only a fragment, some 68mm long and 59mm in maximum diameter, it is not easy to identify.

Unidentified copper-alloy object. This object is D-shaped and the straight line of the D appears to be a worn break edge. This straight edge is the thickest part of the object at 6.72mm and the object decreases in size to 2.72mm thick at the curving end. No decoration is visible. Patches of original surface survive and have a dark green patina but the abraded surfaces are a light-green. The curved edges of the D are very worn. Roman cast copper alloy terminal of uncertain function. It depicts a head, with crude details; the short hair consists of deep cuts and lines in various directions, the brow is furrowed with a horizontal groove at each side meeting at the central apex which follows down to the short, stubby nose. The lentoid eyes are deep-set in very large sockets, the pupils are represented by a circular dot, the ears are simple moulded curving ridges and the moulded lips are defined by three short horizontal lines. Below the neck, the shaft survives for 24.8mm and tapers while maintaining its circ…
