A medieval silver gilt ring, 15th century. The hoop is formed of two clasped hands and carries the inscription IHC+NAZARENU for 'Jesus Christ of Nazareth'. The ring weighs 5.38g and analysis conducted at the British Museum established the silver content at 93 per cent. A medieval damaged gold finger ring of 13th century date. The ring, weighing 3.44g with an internal diameter of approximately 20mm, is of ‘stirrup-shaped’ design, with a flattened strip-like hoop and a simple bezel originally set with a stone that is now missing. The hoop is broken and the ring is generally plain and in rather poor condition. This is an example of a ring type fashionable from the mid-12th century for about three hundred years. A medieval copper alloy signet ring with traces of silvering, 15th century. The ring has a hoop of twisted rope design and an oval bezel decorated with a capital I between sprigs of vegetation. A medieval copper alloy finger ring, 12th century. The ring is a narrow flat hoop decorated with a series of single cross patterns separated by bands of knurled decoration. It has a diameter of 18mm, is 4mm wide and 0.5mm thick. The ring is similar to a silver example from the Lark Hill hoard (See Zarnecki, G. et al. 1984. English Romanesque Art, page 293, ref. 320e).

A Roman silver ring of 'keeled design'. In the ‘keeled design’ the triangular shoulders project at an angle to a plain ovoid bezel (Johns, C. 1996. The Jewellery of Roman Britain, pages 48-49). The shoulders are decorated with a geometric pattern in high relief and join the hoop at a marked carination. The hoop has a narrow D-shaped section. The internal diameter of the ring is 15-16 mm, the external diameter (across the shoulders) is 21 mm and the hoop thickness is 1-2 mm. The ring weighs 2.51g. Roman copper alloy ring fragment. The hoop is sub-rectangular in section with a very slight central ridge on the outer side (which gradiates away down the hoop) and is a broad 10.8mm wide. The ring is broken down its mid-way point and at this point there is part of a sub-rectangular moulding with the surviving shorter end slightly rounded. Roman silver finger ring fragment. Is a Henig type XI. The hoop expands at shoulder and it has an oval bezel, just less than half of which survives and the setting is missing.
