A fragment of a lead alloy (pewter) post-medieval - modern spoon. The fragment consists only of the handle terminal, which is oval in plan. There is a moulded decoration in the form of a central ridge splitting into a Y shape at the end of the handle with a raised, rounded protuberance between the arms of the Y. The reverse is plain and no maker's mark is visible. The spoon dates from probably c.17th to 18th century AD.
