Copper alloy openwork pendant of medieval date. At the top there is a circular suspension loop. Copper alloy harness pendant of medieval date. At the top there is a twisted suspension loop (L. 21.48mm. W. 10.11mm. Th. 2.99mm) with the iron rivet surviving in the loop. The pendant thickens slightly at the junction with the suspension loop. The pendant is sub-rectangular in shape with thin chipped edges and flat upper and lower surfaces so that it is broadly rectangular in section. The upper surface is heavily worn. The remains of a plain raised linear border with an external raised zig-zag border can be seen in some areas and there are traces of gilding present. Brown patina.
