Copper alloy object of unknown date. The object is formed from five interlocking rings (D. 12mm) forming a chain. The two rings at each end have been split so that they may be joined horizontally (see image). Where these rings are joined together they are fixed into place so that there is no movement between them. Between these two pairs there is a single link, also split, but which passes through the inner ring of the two joined pairs at ninety degrees to them (see image).
