A worn Medieval silver long cross penny of Edward III, probably dating from AD 1356-1361. Fourth Coinage, Pre-Treaty Period, Possibly North Series F or Series G. Mint of Durham, probably under Bishop Kellawe due to the crozier initial mark at the end of the cross pattee before CIVI TAS DUR EME on the reverse. Cf. Possibly North 1991 Vol II, p. 52, no. 1177 or p. 54, nos. 1215-1220.

An extremely worn and nearly illegible Medieval silver long cross penny of Edwardian issue. Because of the two annulets positioned after the TAS in the reverse legend, it is likely that this is a long cross penny of Edward III of Pre-Treaty Issue, minted in Durham probably between AD 1356-1361. Probably Pre-Treaty Series G; cf perhaps: North 1991 Vol II, p. 54, no. 1215.
However, very little detail remains to support this and it is only due to the rarity of the double annulets that this identification has been made.

A Medieval silver long cross penny of Edward III, mint of Durham, issued in AD 1356. Pre-Treaty Series F, with crown initial mark. It is likely that the reverse of the coin bears a crozier at one end of the cross pattee, however it is not possible to identify it with complete certainty due to severe surface wear and a bend in the coin. There are multiple tears or clipping on the circumference of the coin. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, No. 1177.
