A complete modern copper alloy trade weight dating c. AD 1826-1835.  The weight is flat and circular with a central circular depression and two incuse stamped marks. A ewer, laver or coffee pot, the inspection mark of the Worshipful Company of Founders, who controlled the lawful making of brass weights in London and a quartered shield with the sword of St. Paul the mark of the Guildhall of London. An incomplete, cast lead alloy Modern crucifix pendant. The celtic style wheel-headed cross is decorated on the upper side with bordered curvilinear vegetal motifs occupying its arms. The reverse is plain and undecorated. The suspension loop has broken from the top. A similar example on the database is NLM-984416.

An incomplete, cast modern copper alloy watch winder. AD 1850-1900. It consists of a circular loop with opposed lugs: one is a hollow winding key, and the other is the seat for a swivel attachment to a fob. Both lugs have collars at the loop attachment. The winder measures 19.7mm long, 14.1mm diameter, 2.2mm thick and weighs 1.51 grams.

A copper-alloy signet ring of Modern 18th-19th century date. It has a sub-circular hoop that expands in width to the bezel. The bezel is in the form of a fox head, consisting of the back of the head, ears, eyes, snout and teeth. One of the eyes still has the remains of a red glass. The hoop is at its widest behind the fox head and narrows round to the jaw. The outer surface is decorated with fine incised lines which imitate the animal's fur. The ring has a dark green patina. A Post Medieval to early Modern zoomorphic cast copper-alloy vessel leg, probably dating to the early to late 19th century AD. The vessel leg is zoomorphic, probably depicting a ram, with its head moulded depicting symmetrical inwardly-spiralling horns, curly forelock, large pointed oval ears, with almond-shaped eyes surmounded by hairy brows followed by an elongated snout and long furry neck. A cast copper alloy double loop buckle. The loops are oval, one loop has a slightly widened outer edge. The second loop is distorted but was probably the same. The buckle has beveled sides to the outer frame and narrow inset strap bar. The pin is missing. The frame measures 12.1mm in length and 17.2mm in width and is 2.4mm thick. It weighs 2.13grams. Whitehead (2003) illustrates similar buckles on page 53, which he dates to c.1350-1650 AD

Modern copper alloy three piece button. The front is pressed sheet with a raised crown and the raised inscription EAST SUSSEX GOAL around the outer edge. The pressed sheet back has an incuse inscription running round the seperate wire loop projecting form the centre. The inscritption reades R E HAYWARD/LONG ACRE/LONDON. It measures 25.1mm in diamter and weighs 4.44 grams. R E Hayward was based at 50 Long Acre and made private livery buttons as well as military and other uniform buttons. There is a rectangular slot running through the object which starts at the lip and finishes at the top of the head; this would have held a rectangular bar attached to the jaw; this is 7.4mm long by 3.2mm wide. Post medieval or modern two piece copper alloy thimble. The thimble is tall with a low rounded top. It is 19.4mm tall, 15.3mm in diameter at the base and weighs 2.1 grams. The base is unthickened, above the base is a band of circluar indentations, a 3.0mm wide undecorated band, another band of circular indentations then a regular series of rows of circular indentations. A cast copper alloy D shaped buckle, with off set bar and copper alloy roller. The front surface of the buckle has bevelled edges, but the reverse is flat. The bar is offset to fit a heavy strap. This type of buckle were developed in the 19th century for use on horse harness (Cuddeford 2001, p.35). The buckle is complete apart from the pin. The surface is a pale brownish-green colour.

A large cast lead bag seal or cloth seal. The seal comprises two discs of lead with a folded lug connecting the two. One of the discs has been pushed through the second disc and has then been stamped. One disc depicts a large arrow – which is pointing upwards. Below the arrow the letters CIB appear in a row. Below the letters are the numbers 19[--], possibly suggesting that this seal dates to the early 1900’s. There is some corroded lead and soil between the two discs. The lead has gone a light whitish-grey colour.

A silver finger ring. The hoop of the ring has been constructed from two strands of wire, which have been soldered together side by side. One of the strands has a circular section and is undercoated. The second strand has been twisted to look like rope work before being soldered to the first piece. The bezel has been formed simply by the two adjacent strands being knotted together. There is a crack in the hoop, which has started to open out. The ring does not look worn. This finger ring is 19th – 20th century in date.

A small cast lead bag/cloth seal. The seal is roughly circular and quite thick. One surface has been decorated with an indeterminate pattern/design. The other has the number 11737 stamped onto its surface. The seal appears to be complete. The lead is worn and a mid whitish-grey colour. This seal probably dates from 1800-1900.
