A gold finger ring. A narrow hoop with D-shaped cross section, expanding slightly towards the bezel. The bezel is square with a black gem or glass setting (damaged). The reverse of the bezel is fluted, radiating from the centre. Exterior surface of band contains lenend in gold set with pale green enamel background. The legend reads: 'JE VIS EN ESPRANCE' - (I live in hope/expectation). Dimensions: External diameter: 20mm Internal diameter: 18mm Height: bezel - 4mm; hoop - 2mm Weight: 1.4g

A gold pennanular brooch. The panannular frame is 26mm in diameter and 3mm wide. It is decorated with floriate design which appears to have been etched into a wider sheet and then shaped into its current form. The terminals are domed and adorned with filigree (alternate triangles and circles) and topped with a square cut green glass stone which sits atop the dome. the base and green glass have filigree borders. Gold finger ring with an inscription around the exterior of the hoop in Gothic or 'black letter' script. The hoop has an anticlastic curvature, and is plain on the interior. The three words read SANS NUL MAL (Without any ill). An engraved floral motif consisting of a single five petalled flower and sprig of leaves separates each word and there are two such motifs after the third word. A gold brooch with a plain thin frame formed into the shape of an asymmetric heart. The brooch is delicate, but complete. The frame is 1.5mm thick and eliptical in cross-section. The pin is present and is secured around the frame at the point where the side of the heart is more accentuated, or outwardly curved, and is narrowed to accomodate it. A Roman gem-set gold finger-ring. The slender, circular-sectioned, beaded wire hoop, now a little distorted, is flanked by a pair of tiny globules at its junction with the lower edge of each end of the bezel. Report by Beverley Nenk (Curator of Medieval Collections, 10 July 2015): A late Medieval gold iconographic finger-ring with a flat rectangular bezel engraved with the figure of a male saint. The hoop is formed from a twisted cable with diagonal beaded ridges, and the shoulders and sides are engraved with foliate decoration. The ring was probably originally enamelled, but no trace of enamelling now survives. The finger-ring dates to the fifteenth century.

Description: Bulla pendant made from a single piece of gold. Both faces are circular and slightly domed, with narrow flat flanges around the edges which are tightly pressed, perhaps soldered, together. They are linked by a strip 3.1mm wide which was bent round to form a suspension loop; this loop is identically decorated on both faces.
