An incomplete copper alloy golded figurine representing Jesus on the cross. The reverse is hollow with flat edges to enable it to sit flush against a wooden cross. Roman silver finger-ring, circular hoop of square section. Filigree twisted around the shoulders and the bezel creates a herringbone pattern. Originally a circular boss decorated each shoulder, but as one shoulder is damaged only one of these is still in place. Discussion: rings of this type were discovered in the Snettisham jeweller's hoard and provide an exact parallel (Johns 1997, cats. 289-91). A complete silver gilt dress fastener of Post-Medieval date. 16th Century. The body of the fastener is rectangular with 8 circular protrusions spaced equally aorund the edge. These protrusions, or knops, are integrally casrt rather than applied seperately and have been filed to shape, each being slightly different sizes and not completely circular. A silver plated half crown of Charles I. The coin is cut roughly in half revealing a copper alloy core. the cin is very worn with danaged edges. The obverse inscription reads: "[ ]ER.FR.ET.HI". The lettering appears to be unevenly placed, possibly suggesting a contemporary copy. The reverse inscription around a square sheild, reads: "CARIS[ ] O [ ]" with an illegible mint mark.

A complete cast copper alloy shield shaped harness pendant. There reverse is fkat and plain. the face has several tear-drop shaped cells, which would have been infilled with enamel but which are now empty with no traces of the enamel left. An incomplete cast copper alloy roller type, D-shaped buckle. The buckle frame is D-shaped in cross-section with a central thickened band which is oval in cross-section. The buckle is unusual in that the central band is thickened all the way around not allowing the back of the buckle to sit flat against the belt. The buckle is 27mm long. The frame is 7mm wide and 3mm thick. the thickened central band is 6.5mm thick.. An alternative interpretation of this object is a lunar shaped mount. Report done by J.P. Robinson of the British Musuem: A medieval bar-mount, broken at one end, the other terminating in a hemispherical boss decorated with cross-hatching. A similar find in copper- alloy is recorded in Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories, (1991), pp 214 and 215, No.1166. The bar-mount is silver- gilt and dates from the mid- to late twelfth century. Dimensions: length 24 mm, width including boss 8 mm.

Report done by Beverley Nenk at the British Museum: A medieval silver-gilt finger-ring, the oval bezel engraved with two clasped hands, with engraved details on the shoulders representing cuffs. The hoop has a central ridge forming two facets, which are engraved with the inscription: I h s : * : n a z a r e n v s r : ('Jesus Nazarenus R[ex Iudeorum]'), signifying the titulus of the Cross ('Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews').
