A complete cast unifaced circular lead alloy token (Powell type 2) dating c. AD 1550-1800. The token is decorated on the obverse side with a capital I, the I having a cross bar. The reverse is blank. The token is 16.03mm in diameter, 1.47mm thick and weighs 2.1grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. An incomplete cast uniface circular lead alloy token. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initial in capital T. The reverse is blank. The token is 14.72 mm in diameter, 3.03 mm thick and weighs 2.5 grams. Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period; those with initials are generally thought to date to the post medieval period. (1550-1800 AD).

A complete Post Medieval cast bifaced circular lead alloy token dating c. AD 1550-1800.  The token is decorated on the obverse side with the initials in capitals ET . The reverse has a raised relief openwork heart. The token is 17.09 mm in diameter, 1.77 mm thick and weighs 3.3 grams. Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period; those with initials are generally thought to date to the post medieval period.

A complete Medieval or Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token of Powell type 3 dating c. 1250-1800.  The token has a raised design of eight lines radiating from a central point creating triangular segements. The reverse is blank. It is 15.49 mm in diameter, 2.30 mm thick and weighs 3.5 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely and this example could date from the Medieval or Post Medieval periods, c.1250-1800 AD.
