The reverse is blank. It is 15.49 mm in diameter, 2.30 mm thick and weighs 3.5 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely and this example could date from the Medieval or Post Medieval periods, c.1250-1800 AD.

An incomplete Medieval copper alloy trapezoidal buckle, probably dating from AD 1300 - 1500.  It is a single loop buckle of trapezoidal shape; the pin is missing. The sides of the frame are bevelled and the corners slightly rounded. The frame is sub-circular in cross-section and has a green coloured well developed patina. An incomplete cast copper-alloy post-medieval double-loop trapezoidal buckle c.1620-1680. The complete frame has expanded and pointed outside edges. There is no evidence for a pin recess and the pin is missing. The strap bar terminates with small lobed protrusions on either end lost to fresh breaks.  The buckle is a dark mid green in colour and the surface is very pitted. The buckle measures 39.49 mm in length, 19.32 mm in width, 2.09 thick and weighs 3.6 g. Parallels for this form of buckle can be found in Whitehead, 2003, p82 dating c. AD 1620-1680.
