Flint flake struck from a pebble. There are visible signs of use wear along both sides. It is pale cream/grey in colour with the remains of cortex. It is hard to date; pebble flint was used widely in the Mesolithic but the technology that made this implement is flake based and so probably Early Neolithic. It can be given only a broad Prehistoric date.
