A Post Medieval bone cuboid dice dating 16th - 18th century. The numbers are indicated by a double circle and dot motifs; they are arranged so the opposite sides add up to 7. The sides are in the arrangement known as Potter's variant 16.

A Post Medieval pinner's bone dating to the 16th century. This tool is made from the end of a long bone trimmed and roughly shaped. The working end has been shaped to form an irregular square in plan, there are also irregular cutmarks further down the shaft of the bone. At the working end there are an irregular series of longitundinal grooves, on which pin shafts are thought to have been placed while they were being filed sharp. There is some damage and wear to the entire surface of the bone.

An incomplete Post Medieval bone apple corer or fid, dating 18th century. The object is formed from a sheep's metapodial which has been carved using a saw. The proximal end of the bone has been sliced in half to form a scoop, leaving the hollow centre of the bone. The object is missing a substantial part of the scoop. The front of the corer has been decorated with an engraved design consisting of 3 ring and dot motifs in triangle formation above 2 horizontal lines, followed by 3 ring-and dot motifs in a horizontal row above 2 horizontal lines.

A bone incomplete whistle of uncertain date. This musical instrument has been made from a long bone that is shaped to have a rectangular cross-section with chamfered corners. At one end the lower edge is cut diagonally creating the mouth piece and there is a D-shaped blow-hole just above. The whistle is broken across the opposite end, there is a surviving double band of circumferential grooves just before the broken edge. At the broken end the shaft of the whistle is infilled with another material. At the mouthpiece there is a fipple, made from a different material.

An Early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) - Medieval bone pin-beater dating AD720 - 1100. This pin-beater is cigar-shaped with two working tapered ends; both ends are damaged and the tips are broken and missing. The surface of the pin-beater is highly polished from wear against the hand and against the threads of the loom. There are several longitudinal scratches across all the surfaces and at one end there are also several small transverse sratches.

A bone needle of unknown date. This needle has been carved from a long bone where one end has been sharpened to a point and the opposite end has been carved to form a flat projection with a circular hole drilled into the end. The edges of the hole are very sharp and there is no evidence of wear. The surface of the bone with no evidence from polishing due to wear.

An incomplete medieval or post medieval parchment-pricker made from animal skeletal material (bone, antler or ivory) and dating to the 13th-16th century. The shaft has a circular cross-section and tapers towards the tip, which is socketed to accommodate the iron tip. The iron tip appears to be missing. At the opposite the bone or ivory has been carved to form a decorative pointed knop and there is a groove just below the knop.

Two fragments of Late Medieval - Modern bone button or bead making waste fragment. These are two worked fragments from a long bone, cut to form flat plates. On the larger fragment there is one complete circular hole and one incomplete circular hole. On the smaller fragment there are one complete circular hole and four incomplete circular holes where discs have been cut from the fragments. This sort of object is impossible to date. MacGregor notes that they are found in Late Medieval to modern contexts (1985, 101).

An early post medieval iron incomplete whittle tanged knife and bone or ivory handle probably dating to the late 16th century. Approximately 20mm of the blade is surviving, there is no evidence of a maker's mark visible. The handle is ornately carved with a central spiral section flanked by faceted sections to either side terminating in a turned ball finial. There is a crack along the length of the handle that is typical of ivory. The handle tapers from the ball finial to the blade.

A post medieval ivory comb fragment probably dating 16th - 17th century. The comb is double-sided and made in one piece. The central section has straight, parallel sides. The surviving fragment is 43.81mm long. One one side the teeth are finer than on the other and the majority of the fine teeth are broken and missing. There is two guidelines carved along the start of the teeth on each side. The initials "IH" have been carved onto one side of the central section. A Roman bone hair pin dating AD150-410. This is a Crummy Type 3 or Greep Type B1a. The pin has spherical head that has a greater diameter than the shaft and the shaft has a swelling 30mm down the length (measuring from the head). The tip has been re-sharpened during the lifespan of the object. There is some damage that on the head that slightly alters the shape. A post medieval bone ring probably dating to the 17th century. This bone is a cut ring from the femur of a sheep. There are linear cut marks on the surface created by a knife as part of the butchering process. Both ends of the bone have been sawn, again as part of the butchering process. Alan Pipe said that a knife would be used to separate the muscle from the bone and to mark the bone ahead of sawing.
