Flint flake, probably dating to the Neolithic period (3500-2100 BC) which has been re-touched (worked) into a tool. The flake has some fine working along the right ventral edge and around the distal end. The flint has also been water worn so that the edges appear smoother than they would have originally been. The tool is likely to have been used as a cutting or scraping implement for working with animal hide. The flint weighs 4.05g and measures 27.4mm in length, 21.9mm in width and 5.7mm in thickness.

A section of a cast, copper alloy Roman brooch, probably of the Aucissa derivative type, dating from 43-75AD. The brooch has a hinged pin mechanism but the pin does not survive. The bow is cast with three raised, lateral ribs; a broad central rib and a narrower rib along each side. There are a number of small, transverse grooves incised into each rib. On each side of the bow are four small, equidistantly spaced knops, those on one side being largely worn away.
