A slightly incomplete and damaged silver struck/ hammered denarius of Vespasian, probably minted in Rome (or Tarraco) between AD 69-71 (diameter: 17mm; thickness: 2.1mm; weight: 2.59g). The reverse shows Judaea or a mourning Jew seated under a palm-tree and is one of the pictorial types used to commemorate the Jewish war.
