A copper-alloy fragment of late medieva lto early post-medieval purse frame. The piece has a shallow curvature, V-shaped cross section and tapers to a pointed distal end. A circular perforation represents a sewing hole, by which the now-missing bag would have been attached to the frame. Surviving length:56.7mm. A medieval copper-alloy harness pendant. The pendant is circular in plan and generally of flat section, the exception to this being the central portion, where there is a lion mask, moulded in high relief. A ring of wavy grooves, representing the mane, surrounds this central element. Two concentric grooves form an outer border. Traces of gilding remain on the upper surface of the pendant.
