A complete Medieval copper-alloy bar mount (c. 1350-c. 1400). This mount is convex at the front and flat at the rear. It has two arms tapering from a central lobe. At the front the lobe is cross-hatched. Each arm tapers to a rounded terminal that is pierced with a circular hole to accommodate a rivet. The holes are countersunk at the rear. An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1400). The pin and plate are missing. The front is convex and the rear is flat. Each loop is similar in size and shape. Both expanded outside edges are similar although one is slightly larger than the other. At the front the outside edges have multiple transverse grooves. The central bar is triangular in cross-section and has traces of iron staining. This buckle frame is greenish brown with traces of a white metal coating at the front and rear. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy trumpet derivative brooch (AD 75-175). The leg, pin, catch-plate and most of the chain loop are missing. The semi-circular head-plate is convex at the front and concave at the rear and has an incomplete solid integral chain-loop at the top. At the front of the head-plate there is a stepped flange on the sides and top of the outer edge. The integrally cast semi-cylindrical wings house an iron axis bar for the hinged pin mechanism. Incomplete bi-facially worked flint implement, probably a hand-axe of probable Palaeolithic date. Length 121mm, width 64mm and 41mm thick. Weight 219.39g. The black patinated implement has several small modern breaks along the edges and the tip of the point is also broken and missing. However, this break appears to be old.
