A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy hooked mount (c. 1200-c. 1400). The main body of the mount is rectangular and has a rounded end at the top. This main part is triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear. At the opposite end an integral hook projects forwards and is divided from the main part by a horizontal rib. A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell (1600-1800). The sub-square suspension loop at the top is about 10.0mm long, 13.0mm wide, 5.1mm thick and has a circular aperture measuring 4.9mm in diameter. The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent horizontal circumferential joining rib. At each side of the suspension loop, about half way down the side of the upper hemisphere, is a circular sound hole. Two sound holes in the lower hemisphere are integral with a sound 'slit'. The lower half of the bow, pin shaft, catch-plate, extreme tips of wings and integral chain loop are all missing due to old breaks. An incomplete copper-alloy object of uncertain function and of possible post-Medieval date (c. 1500-c. 1800). This object tapers in width and thickness from a break across a hole to a blunt point. From the pointed end to about halfway along its length the upper face is ‘D’-shaped in cross-section. The remaining part of the upper face is bevelled along the edges.
