An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy composite buckle frame with an integral forked spacer (c. 1350-c. 1450). The loop is a Meols Type 3/4. The sheet plates and pin are missing. The single loop oval frame is bevelled externally on the upper face and has a triangular lip at the centre of the outside edge. It is flat at the rear. There is a slot to accommodate a pin. A complete and corroded post-Medieval copper-alloy asymmetrical double-loop buckle (c. 1575-c. 1700). This buckle frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. One loop is sub-rectangular and the other is 'D'-shaped with a pointed outside edge. The upper face of each loop is bevelled internally. A complete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy polyhedral pin (c. 700-c. 900). This pin has a head with a single ring-and-dot motif on each of the four main sides. There is a similar but smaller ring-and-dot on each of the upper four facets. The lower facets and the top are plain. The collar between the head and shaft has a diameter of 2.5mm. The shank tapers very slightly towards the right angled bend. Just beneath the collar the diameter of the shank is 1.4mm. This pin has patches of corrosion and a dull green patina.
