An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval decorative buckle (c. 1450-c. 1600). The pin is missing. This double-looped buckle has concave sides with an acorn knop at each corner. At the front, one outside edge has a transverse notch serving as a pin-rest. The frame, but not the bar, has inscribed herring bone decoration. The rear of the frame is plain and bevelled internally. A mouth fragment from a late Bronze Age copper-alloy possible socketed gouge (c. 1000 BC-c. 800 BC). This fragment is sub-rectangular in plan and is curved when viewed from above. Considering the curvature of the mouth it was probably circular when complete. The top has a horizontal multiple (triple) mouth moulding, one moulding forming a rim to the mouth and two below. An incomplete Medieval or post-Medieval copper-alloy spur rowel (c. 1350-c. 1600). This rowel is flat on both faces and is pointed-oval in cross-section. It had eighteen points but only one is now complete. The points are joined for the inner half of their length and there is a perforation at the centre which has become sub-oval due to wear. A post-Medieval copper-alloy plate/chape from a spur buckle (c. 1500-c. 1700). This plate is widest at the inner end where there is a cylindrical housing for an iron spindle, parts of which remain within. The plate tapers to a pair of hemispherical knops, one to each side. These knops form a juncture between the flat plate and hook. The hook is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat on the inner face.
