A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy spur rowel (c. 1500-c. 1700). The rowel is in the form of a five-pointed star with raised decorative points in the interstices of the star which lead from the centre of the rowel and terminate in a point just proud of the interstice. The decoration is the same on both sides of the rowel. In the centre is a circular perforation, 3.3 mm in diameter. Length: 28.3mm; width: 27.2mm; thickness: 2.0mm. Weight: 2.97g. A post-Medieval copper-alloy plate/chape from a spur buckle (c. 1500-c. 1700). This plate is widest at the inner end where there is a cylindrical housing for an iron spindle, parts of which remain within. The plate tapers to a pair of hemispherical knops, one to each side. These knops form a juncture between the flat plate and hook. The hook is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat on the inner face. A complete Medieval copper-alloy harness pendant suspension mount (c. 1200-c. 1400). The suspension mount is 'T'-shaped in plan and generally triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear. At each end there is a lobe pierced to accommodate a rivet. Both rivets are missing. A central, double-looped lug (length: 7.9mm) protrudes from the lower longer edge of the mount. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy and enamelled lozenge plate brooch (AD 100-200). The pin is missing. This brooch is lozenge-shaped. The plate has two concentric steps with a concentric raised cell or panel at the centre containing blue enamel. The edges of the steps and the cell have similar punched marks as decoration. A complete and corroded copper-alloy and enamelled Medieval heraldic harness pendant (1300-1400). The pendant is shield-shaped with a straight top. At the top it has a suspension loop set at 90° to the plane of the pendant and the sides curve and taper to a pointed base. Much of the blue enamel survives but the gold has been lost.
