An incomplete Medieval silver-gilt iconographic prayer finger-ring depicting two of the wounds of Christ (c. 1400-c. 1500). Treasure case no. 2019 T14 (addenda to 2018 T194).
The finger-ring is convex on the outer face and flat on the inner face. About 40% of the finger-ring is present and when complete it would have had five bezels. The mouth, neck and suspension lugs are missing.
The object is now sub-circular in plan and has a ragged break at the top. One side of the body has near vertical grooves and ridges which represent an escallop shell. There are also grooves and ridges on the bevelled edge. The opposite side has an unclear raised design with a cross-hatched background.

This trade weight is circular in plan and has flaring sides. At the top the diameter is 17.3mm and at the base the diameter is 15.9mm. The upper face is dished and has a rim with a width of 1.6mm. The central design within a circle appears to have been deliberately obliterated by gouging. The rear face is flat and has a central circular pit, 1.7mm in diameter. One side has a raised design of a single masted clinker built ship (cog) left, with a lis above the fore castle and a lion passant guardant above the after castle. A complete probable Neolithic or Early Bronze Age flint scraper (c. 4000-c. 1600 BC). This scraper has been made on a secondary flake.
The scraper is sub-discoidal in form and has been retouched around its entire circumference on the dorsal face, excepting adjacent to the striking platform. The retouch is short, scalar and semi-abrupt. The ventral face has low relief ripples and the bulb of percussion has been retouched and partially removed. A small notch has been formed by retouch on the ventral face.
This implement is grey with areas of off-white and the cortex is buff.

This weight is circular in plan with flaring sides that give it an almost trapezoidal profile. The centre of the cup is hollow with a flat interior base which has a central pit. The rim at the top of the weight is flat and undecorated and the exterior base is flat. The exterior has an off-white circumferential mark which may have been created when the weight was nested. There is no indication of any stamped marks.

An incomplete Late Iron Age or early Roman copper-alloy one-piece brooch of 'Nauheim derivative' La Tene III type (c. AD 25-c. 100).
About half of the spring, the pin and the catch-plate are missing.
The brooch has two coils of a probable bilateral four-coil spring. In plan, the sides of the bow flare out to form shoulders and then taper towards the break. The front of the bow is decorated with two converging grooves which extend from the top of the bow and meet at the break. The rear face is plain.

The weight is circular and flat with a design in light relief on one face, the other face is plain. The design is of a haloed St Michael facing forward, standing on and spearing a dragon. The spear is held from top left to lower right.

An Early Bronze Age barbed and tanged flint arrowhead (c. 2500 BC- c. 1500 BC).
This arrowhead has been made on a tertiary flake. It is broadly sub-triangular in plan and lentoid in cross-section. The arrowhead has been knapped using both direct and indirect percussion techniques. Both faces have received about the same amount of knapping. The tang has a square end and is a sub-square in plan, roughly pointed-oval in cross-section. Each barb now has a square end but they seem to have been truncated. The ends of the barbs are now flat and smooth.

This object is an 'S'-shaped belt hook fastener. One side has a moulded design and the other side is flat. The fastener terminates with a dragon's head at each end. The eyes and mouth can be clearly seen. At the centre on the moulded side a band of pellets is flanked on either side by a plume of six 'feathers'.
The head could be that of a snake or swan.

An almost complete post-Medieval silver-gilt dress-hook (1500-1600). Treasure case no. 2018 T1039.
The object consists of a trefoil shaped plate with a plain edge, a separate soldered wire hook and separate soldered transverse attachment loop.
The front of the plate is moulded with a plain domed boss in each lobe; each boss is surrounded by a line of pseudo filigree wire. In the centre is an integral pellet, and similar pellets are positioned on the edge of the plate between the bosses. The plate, bosses and pellets appear to be cast in one piece.

This axehead is now sub-triangular in plan and is pointed oval in cross-section. This fragment is moulded at the front and flat on the reverse and is the corner of the frame. Openwork is formed by 'interwoven' 'rope work' with a motif resembling a stylised scallop shell or frond at the corner.
The object is mainly covered with a green patina on both faces. The breaks are old and abraded.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy single-loop buckle (c. 1270-c. 1350). Meols type 12.
The pin and roller are missing.
Prior to distortion the frame would have been oval in plan with an off-set narrowed bar. The outer edge is expanded and recessed to accommodate a copper-alloy sheet roller on which the pin-tip would have rested. The bar is irregular in cross-section.
The frame has a green patina where it is not corroded.

The incomplete openwork bow is flat on both faces. There is no collar between the bow and shank. The oval shank is solid throughout its length. The shank is parallel in width and thickness. The simple bit is square and has no clefts.
This key is dull green and has a dull green patina in places. The breaks are old.
