A Medieval to post-Medieval foot from a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel (c. 1250-c. 1650).
The object is trapezoidal in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section.
At the front it is bevelled at the sides. Two notches at the front give it a claw-like appearance. At the rear it is bevelled close to the base.
This object is coarse and green with some areas of corrosion and small patches of soot. The break at the top is old.

The object is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section.
The front is divided by a prominent horizontal rib which is situated about mid-way along its length. Above and below this rib there is a central vertical rib flanked on either side by a less prominent rib. The rear face is flat and plain and the base of the foot is rounded and worn.
