Looped palstave of Late Middle Bronze Age cast in a bi-valve mould. Length 151mm, maximum width, at blade end 38mm, maximum thickness, at stop ridge 28mm. weight 322g. The edges of the flanges are abraded and the whole cutting edge of the blade has been chipped in antiquity. Decoration on both sides of the blade beneath the curving stop ridge is in the form of a shield combined with a central rib to form a "trident" pattern. Incomplete unlooped palstave of the Middle Bronze Age cast in a bi-valve mould. Length 169mm, maximum width, at blade end 37mm, maximum thickness, at the stop ridge 27mm. Weight 362g. Fragment of a copper alloy plate-headed T-shaped Roman brooch of the late first to early second century. Length 19.5mm, width 20mm and 1.5mm thick. Weight 5.06g. The fragment comprises the fan-shaped head-plate and part of the bow and pin. The head-plate is decorated with a lateral groove either side of which is a lateral rib. Half of a glass bead. The breaks are old. Probably Early medieval, sixth century. Length 12mm. Weight 1.95g. When complete the bead would have been about 14mm in diameter. The bead is an opaque black colour with a yellow band at the top and bottom, and in between red zigzag bands, all marvered onto the surface. The bead is probably a Guido type 8xviib, 'drum-shaped' - short cylindrical. (Guido, 1999). The perforation is 5mm in width at one end and 4.5mm at the other end.

Silver armlet of Early Medieval, sixth century date. Length 300mm, maximum width 12mm and 1mm thick. Weight 24.49g. Surface metal analysis conducted at the British Museum indicated an approximate silver content for the armlet of 70%. The armlet is broken in two and distorted, presumably by agricultural activity, but is otherwise complete. It consists of a strip which tapers from the centre to its two rounded ends and would originally have been coiled in a spiral. Fragment of ceramic red tile of probable Post-medieval date. Length 92mm, width 67mm and 33mm thick. Weight 227.89g. One edge, 40mm in length, of the tile is an original surface. The clay has been tempered with rounded quartz. One face of the tile has two "stab" marks and the other face is plain. The breaks which appear to be old have occured along the alignments of other stab marks and the shape of the implement which created the stab marks is visible along the broken edges. These marks are a steep pointed "V" shape and almost penetrate the full thickness of the tile.

Complete copper alloy Winchester Type 2 rotary key. Possibly of 10th century date. Length 41mm, width 35mm and 11mm thick. Weight 35.12g. The relatively small bow is solid and not open like many other keys of this type. Complete rectangular copper alloy strap guide. Length 28mm, width 8mm and the maximum thickness of the outer edge is 3.5mm. Weight 3.57g. The outer edge of the guide is lanceolate in shape and has three longitudinal tapering facets making it roughly convex in cross-section with the rear side being flat. At the wider end are three short transverse linear ribs. The sides and the inner edge are sub-round in cross section. The copper alloy is reddish in colour.

Complete copper alloy decorated harness pendant of Medieval date, probably thirteenth or fourteenth century. Length 35mm, width 28mm and 3.5mm thick. Weight 9.61g. The pendant is quatrefoil-shaped in plan and has a suspension loop turned through 90 degrees. The lower foil is bent slightly towards the rear and the loop perforation is sub-round in shape and is broken through by wear or erosion. Incomplete and bent copper alloy tweezers of unknown date. Undecorated. About half of one of the arms is broken and missing. The break is old. Length of the surviving arm 47mm, width 6.5mm and 1.0mm thick. Weight 2.89g. The loop has modest curvature and is about 7mm in length. The surviving arm has parallel sides and does not flare outwards near the end which has been deliberately turned inwards to facilitate grip. The tweezers are heavily corroded. However, small areas of a black coloured patina survive on both sides of the complete arm and also on the loop.
